Solar cells have become the mainstream of new energy in the world. In Japan, solar cells is one of major development projects led by the government. As known by industry people, Japan was the number one country to produce the most solar cells globally by 2004; however, due to the economic recession, Germany has exceeded Japan to become the top of the world in the solar cells field. Even so, the 1st International PV EXPO 2008 was held in Tokyo Big Sight, which symbolizing that Japan is standing on the chance again to retake its number one position and bring up the country to next stage of the solar cell field.
